what if Adam and Eve had not sinned

God definitely had a purpose when He created man.

He created man in His own image and gave him an accommodation in His(God’s) garden. Adam was given work to do, was surrounded with all he would ever need, including a wife, Eve, which he initially didn’t think about. Adam and Eve didn’t have any needs in the garden, coz all was pre-provided and provisioned by God Himself.

Unfortunately, Adam and Eve sinned, disobeyed Gods command and were driven out of the garden and thus, an unplanned “life outside the garden” begun.

But what if Adam and Eve didn’t sin. What if Eve rejected the serpent’s offer to sin? what if they hadn’t eaten of the fruit of the tree of knowledge and evil. I’m wondering how this world have turned out.

For example: If they hadn’t sinned, Cain and Abel would have been born in the garden and maybe Can wouldn’t have killed Abel. There wouldn’t be any hatred anywhere and life would have gone on and on. And if, perhaps the population of the garden increased so much that there wasn’t space for everyone, God might have either carved out a bigger garden somewhere, and their exit from Eden won’t have been as a result of Sin and Gods displeasure. There wouldn’t have been any flood to destroy the earth during the time of Noah. On and on, no old / new testament and Jesus won’t have needed to die for the sins of mankind in order to restore man to God.

TIme to brainstrom: what if Adam and Eve had not sinned?

  • would we all be in the garden? or would there be no “us” at all?
  • women won’t need to go through the pain of childbirth,
  • no old age, no death, no sickness, no prayer requests,

your thoughts and opinions are welcome!!!
