You heard what was said but misunderstood.
She didn’t say what you concluded,
so you go around with a headache
because of the good and bad look on a face,
– many hearts with sorrow congested
eyes and ears setting so many moods.
If you said the smile was fake,
what of the frown, was it true?
If because he didn’t greet you, he’s unkind,
who said you are always on his mind?
or maybe the hello was quite short
and therefore you give him a bad report.
Tensions go arising,
self begins a-worrying,
on ‘maybe this’ and ‘maybe that’
sweat pouring and problems start,
later when the truth comes to light,
you have yourself to blame for loosing sight.
So many problems we cause for ourselves
because we failed to listen right,
reading faces ike the pages of a book,
from sweet, we soon want to puke
for faces bright or dark as the night
has brought us into problemns no one can help.
