In the dark of the Night

The day was gone, the night did come,
The night – so still and lone,
The streets were empty, and queit,
Except for the barking of the dogs.

I looked out of the window of my room,
Beholding a sight I would never forget,
I couldn’t describe it in just few words,
T’was beyond the comprehension of my imagination.

More elegant than any human I had ever seen,
Eyes like flames of fire, penetrating the soul,
Shoulders like the pillars of an Egyptian art,
Hands so subtle, yet so strong,
A chest like the walls of Jericho,
A sturdy waist with a belt of pure Gold,
His legs, could break through a wall,
His shoes of pure Gold,
Could this be the son of the Living God?
