Christ was born on Christmas day.
Christ, in a manger was gently laid.
Christ grew up to pave the way.
Christ had always loved us all the way.
Christ, that we could be free from life’s fray,
Christ, His life for us he haply lay.
Christ, for our many sins he did pay,
Christ, all the way even to the cross-way.
Christ, so that we might be new, clean and gay.
Christ, the Name we can now freely say.
Christ, everywhere, both night and day.
Christ, is always calling all who may,
Christ, “come unto me” He daily is His say
Christ, “Come, I am the true doorway”.
Christ, He would not say to you nay,
Christ, if to Him you come and humbly pray.
Christ shines brighter than a moonlight ray.
Christ, he leads not other than the heavenly way.
Christ the door is open even today.
Christ, in him are spices everyday.
Christ, come and taste of His table’s tray.
Christ, to Him must we daily pray.
Christ, He’s our only hope and stay.
Christ, let us follow him all the way.
